Eva Sommeregger
Born in 1981, Eva graduated Diploma in Architecture from the Vienna University of Technology and Masters in Architectural Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture, London with distinction.
Eva has worked on commercial and non-commercial projects in Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, London and Vienna. She has been visiting lecturer at the Architectural Association and Bartlett School of Architecture, and given workshops at the Royal College of Art and at the Architectural Association.
Her personal work understands architecture as construct of perception and combines time-based media with architecture. Her work has been exhibited at the Venice ArchitectureBiennale 2008, her films have been screened on festivals across Europe and Japan, such as “Anifest” film festival in Prague, “audiovisiva” experimental media festival in Milan, “full pull” experimental music, art & video in Malmö, “Zebra Film Festival” in Berlin, the “dislocate 08” exhibition and symposium in Yokohama, “Beyond Media” Festival Florence, “Asolo Film Festival” and on MEMORIES FROM EARTH tv station's weekly programme
